MySQL – locked query debugging

For those who are unfamiliar with mytop, it’s a great tool, similar to the top utility commonly used for watching UNIX/Linux processes and their states. While it is a terrific tool, it surprisingly does not exactly share if a query has been locked in the state column, or note it by any color highlighting mechanism.
